Our little Athena-rina-roo is 4 months old today!

She is still content to go along and watch Balin play. Yesterday Athena was chillin in the stroller while Balin ran around stomping bubbles, and today she happily slept through most of a birthday party for a friend. Later in the day Athena did make some faces for us.
We are still thrilled to hear her laugh and she has become a great wiggler. Athena can squirm her way right off of her gym and onto the kitchen floor.

At her checkup this week, Athena weighed 12.5 pounds (25th percentile) and was 25 inched long (90th percentile). She still has a little thrush, but it looks like it’s clearing up.
This morning Balin woke me up by coming in and telling me that Athena likes her shapes. Balin had heard Athena making some noises in the crib and he turned on the shape mobile for her. I expect that Balin was peeking over the edge of the crib and he saw Athena smiling.

She’s so darling! How fun to see the big brother-baby sister interactions.
Dalton is already over 14 lbs at 3 months. The boy can eat.
