Athena is 8 weeks old today and she weighs 10 pounds 4 ounces. This morning the doctor said that she had never seen ear infections in a baby so young and Athena has two of them. In spite of this, Athena is still sleeping well and hardly crying at all, although she does have a mean sounding cough.

We think this cold is the result of sharing from Athena’s big brother. Last week Balin was sick with a cold and sinus infection, which he has shared with both mom (also sick) and baby sister. Hopefully, we will all recover soon…

One other funny thing is that the doctor said we should make sure Athena looks to the left more so that she doesn’t grow lopsided.
